Aotea Radio expanding broadcasts
At the February hui of Community Groups, Aotea Radio reported on a successful summer season. The station can be found on 94.6 FM and is currently on air every day from 10am-5pm.
Most areas are receiving broadcasts but reception in the North is not so good. Aotea Radio hope to put another transmitter up to cover that area. There are also plans to be able to broadcast ‘mobile’, e.g. at New Years Picnic, maybe also from the upcoming Barrier Babe day at Mulberry Grove School on the 4th of April.
The station is offering free advertising or plugs for Community groups / events.
